The Boghossian Foundation – Villa Empain will be exceptionally closed on Saturday 13 July from 4 pm. We advise you to arrive for the visit of the exhibitions Josef and Anni Albers and Beyond the lines at 3 pm at the latest. Thank you for your understanding.

The annual prize of € 36,000 shall be split between three winners. Each winner will receive € 12,000 euros for their work in the following disciplines: visual art, design and crafts, and jewellery.

The Prize also extends to a one-month stay at the Villa Empain Artists’ Residence and an exhibition of their work at the Boghossian Foundation.

There is no age limit for the Prize.

The jury will be chaired by Jean and Albert Boghossian and will gather some of the leading figures of the international art scene: Marie-Claude Beaud (exhibition curator), Daniel Blanga Gubbay (Director of the Kunstenfestivaldesarts), Bernard Coulie (professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, Arts and Letters and a member of the UCLouvain Institute for the Study of Civilisations, Arts and Letters), Chris Dercon (managing director of the Fondation Cartier), Julia Garimorth (chief curator at the Musée d’art Moderne de la Ville de Paris), Diane Hennebert (founder and director of Out of the box), Jean-Noël Jeanneney (historian), Pascale Mussard (founder of Petit h), Alfred Pacquement (art historian and museum curator), Louma Salamé (director of the Boghossian Foundation – Villa Empain).
