Watercolour Travel Diary - Boghossian Foundation

In the exhibition Diary of Happiness, around one hundred watercolours by Jean-Michel Othoniel invite visitors on a journey across the world, at once joyful and intimate. Within this context, the Boghossian Foundation invites both adults and children to explore their own imagination during a watercolour workshop at Villa Empain, led by Aurélia Jacques.

On this occasion, adults will be invited to paint three places associated with joy, while children will be encouraged to imagine the boat of their dreams. An invitation to extend, through painting, the spirit of the travel diary that runs throughout the exhibition.

Driven by a desire to share and transmit, Aurélia Jacques places her creativity at the service of meaningful projects. After twenty years in Paris as a creative director, she chose to turn towards artistic mediation, using the creative process to offer a space for dialogue, encounter, and movement. She conceives and leads artistic and philanthropic projects for a wide range of audiences, with particular attention to making them accessible to all.

Her workshops are conceived as spaces of exploration and freedom, where everything becomes material to experiment with, reinvent, and unfold. Alongside this work, Aurélia continues to develop her practice as a visual artist and illustrator.
