United States: the election of all risks

Donald Trump or Kamala Harris? Who will be the next President of the United States? Who will be at the head of the world’s leading power in a fragmented, contested and dangerous international system? To answer these questions, the Boghossian Foundation is delighted to welcome Maya Kandel, a specialist in the United States, to shed light on this major issue in international politics, in conversation with Gaïdz Minassian.

A historian specialized in American foreign policy, Maya Kandel is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University, and is a research associate at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3. In 2021-2022, she was senior fellow and director of the United States programme at the Institut Montaigne. The author of numerous press articles, reviews and books on American power, in 2018 she published Les Etats-Unis et le monde, de George Washington à Donald Trump, published by Perrin.
