“Beware! He who touches fire shall be burned.
Yet some – animals, humans – dare to approach the flames.
These are their stories, handed down to us from the dawn of time.”

Since time immemorial, fire has fascinated as much as it has terrified. Present in every culture, it pervades myths, rituals, and celebrations. The storyteller Marie-Rose Meysman invites you to an afternoon of tales, drawing inspiration from the exhibition Fire, which reveals the many faces of fire: flame, candle, electricity, smoke… From the cosy hearth to grey ashes, from the tiniest spark to a roaring blaze, fire embodies both life and destruction.

Through her tales, Marie-Rose invites us to a timeless moment, a poetic escape into worlds of the imagination, inhabited by legends and ancestral stories.
