Garden Tales
◇ 18 May 2025
The Boghossian Foundation opens the gates to its garden, home to century-old trees and a unique Art Deco swimming pool.
Garden Tales is a unique and free event that opens the gates to Brussels’ gardens. An invitation to explore singular worlds and to rediscover the parks of the capital.
On Sunday 18 May, CIVA is organising guided tours of private Brussels parks and gardens dating from the interwar period. Between contemporary urban challenges and the preservation of landscape heritage, we invite you to delve into the art of twentieth-century garden design.
This special edition is held in collaboration with the Art Deco Week, an initiative led by the Boghossian Foundation–Villa Empain, the Van Buuren Museum & Gardens, the Horta Museum, the Autrique House, and the Brussels Art Deco Society, taking place from 12 to 18 May.
Enhanced with century-old trees and contemporary sculptures, the Villa Empain garden features an immense swimming pool surrounded by an oval pergola, unique in Brussels. A rare opportunity to discover this exceptional setting!
