Discover the world of Jean-Michel Othoniel
◇ 7 June 2026
As part of the Vestalia festival, the Boghossian Foundation invites you to visit the exhibition Diary of Happiness, conceived by Jean-Michel Othoniel.
For one hour, a guide will take you on a journey through more than 150 works, monumental sculptures, and delicate watercolours. Spanning the spaces of the Villa Empain as well as the outdoor areas, the exhibition draws its inspiration from thirty years of travels around the world.
As an introduction, you will be welcomed by Caroline Schuermans, Director of Communications, who will share behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the exhibition. What are the challenges of installing an exhibition within a masterpiece of Art Deco architecture? Why did Louma Salamé, Director of the Boghossian Foundation, invite Jean-Michel Othoniel for this carte blanche? How did the artist imagine and design his parcours?
Join us on 7 June for this exclusive visit, under the sign of poetry and joy.
